Nova automatically disables scoring on jobs in two situations to help control costs. Disabled jobs can be re-enabled at any time, and all previous scores and data are preserved.

Billing Period Expiry

For metered plans, Nova disables scoring at the end of each billing cycle. Warning emails with Keep Active links are sent during a configurable grace period (default: 5 days before the billing boundary). Click the link or re-enable from the dashboard to keep scoring active. Re-enabling after billing expiry starts a new billing period.

Inactivity

Jobs that haven’t processed any applications for a configurable period (default: 14 days) are automatically disabled. No warning emails are sent for inactivity-based auto-disable.

Re-enabling

Click Start on any disabled job from the Jobs page. Nova resumes scoring immediately. All existing scores, assessments, and analytics are preserved.
Auto-disable only affects Nova’s scoring. Your job posting remains active in your ATS and continues receiving applications normally.
