Company-wide settings are configured in Settings from your Nova dashboard. These apply to all jobs unless overridden at the job level.
Scoring Settings

| Default output language | Language for all Nova-generated assessments. Supports 19 languages. Can be overridden per job. |
| Exclude application questions from scoring | When enabled, Nova scores based on resume data only, ignoring application question responses. Useful if you’re concerned about AI-written answers inflating scores. |
Auto-Disable
Nova automatically pauses scoring on inactive or expired jobs to control costs. Default thresholds are 14 days of inactivity and a 5-day billing grace period. Contact your account manager to adjust these settings.

ATS Integration Settings
ATS-specific settings vary by provider. Common options include:
- ATS user: Which user account Nova uses to post scores in your ATS
- Score mapping: How Nova’s 1-10 scale maps to your ATS rating system (e.g. Lever’s 4-point scale)
- Recording method: How assessments appear in your ATS (e.g. feedback forms vs notes in Ashby)

Security
Nova supports two-factor authentication (2FA) using authenticator apps like 1Password, Authy, or Google Authenticator. Each user can enable 2FA from their account security page.
Setting Up 2FA
Open security settings
Navigate to your account security page from the user menu.
Scan QR code
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
Verify and save backup codes
Enter the verification code from your app, then save the backup codes in a secure location. Backup codes can be used to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
Store your backup codes securely. If you lose access to both your authenticator app and backup codes, you’ll need to contact support to recover your account.
