Nova provides analytics at two levels: per-job analytics showing score distribution and processing status for a single role, and company-wide analytics tracking trends across all your Nova-enabled jobs.

Job-Level Analytics

Click the Analytics button in a job’s row actions to open the analytics dialog. This shows data for that specific job.

Score Distribution

A breakdown of how candidates scored, shown as both a pie chart by score range and a bar chart by individual score (0-10). Use this to assess whether your criteria are calibrated correctly:
  • If most candidates score 9-10, your criteria may be too loose.
  • If almost no one scores above 5, your criteria may be too strict.
  • A spread across the range with 15-25% scoring 8+ suggests well-tuned criteria.

Applications Processed

A time-series chart showing how many applications Nova processed over a configurable date range, with daily, weekly, or monthly granularity. Useful for tracking hiring pipeline activity.

Processing Status

A summary showing:
MetricDescription
Total applicationsTotal candidates in the pipeline
ScoredSuccessfully evaluated with a score
SkippedMissing resume or invalid application (not charged)
PendingAwaiting processing
Average scoreMean score across scored candidates
You are not charged for skipped applications (e.g. missing resume, invalid application).

Company-Wide Analytics

Navigate to the Analytics page from your company dashboard. This shows aggregated data across all your Nova-enabled jobs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Analytics update as candidates are scored. When Nova is actively processing a job, data refreshes every few seconds. Otherwise, data reflects the latest completed scoring run.
Data export is not currently available. Contact your account manager for specific reporting needs.
It depends on your criteria and role. Generally, 15-25% of candidates scoring 8+ indicates well-calibrated criteria. If nearly everyone scores high or low, adjust criteria specificity.
When no real scoring data exists yet (e.g. you just connected your ATS), analytics shows demo data with a sample indicator. Once Nova processes real candidates, the charts switch to your actual data automatically.
