What you can do

Connect your LinkedIn Recruiter seat to Nova, then send shortlisted candidates straight into any of your Recruiter projects. You stay in Nova, the candidate lands in LinkedIn. Each person connects their own LinkedIn account. You can’t share one seat across a team. Works today:
  • Connect your LinkedIn Recruiter seat.
  • See your Recruiter projects in Nova.
  • Add shortlisted candidates to a chosen project.
Not yet:
  • Sending messages or InMail from Nova.
  • Changing pipeline stages after the add.
  • One shared seat for a whole team.

Connecting your seat

  1. Open Talent Search and click Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Click Connect LinkedIn. A LinkedIn sign-in page opens in a new tab.
  3. Sign in. You come back to Nova automatically.
  4. Wait for the badge to turn green. Nova verifies your seat has Recruiter access.
Once you see Connected, you’re done. The Add to LinkedIn button appears on every shortlist.

Adding candidates to a project

  1. On a Talent Search session, pick the candidates you want to send over.
  2. Click Add to LinkedIn in the shortlist action bar.
  3. Pick the Recruiter project you want them in.
  4. Click Add. Nova tells you who made it and who didn’t.

When something doesn’t work

If a candidate fails to add, Nova shows you why in the toast and on the Integrations page. Here’s what the common messages mean and what to do.
You have Recruiter open in another browser or device, and LinkedIn refuses to run it in two places at once.Fix: Close every other Recruiter tab. Open LinkedIn Talent Solutions and pick this session if LinkedIn asks. Then click Refresh status in Nova.
Your LinkedIn session expired, usually because of a password change or a new 2FA setup.Fix: Click Reconnect LinkedIn and sign in again.
LinkedIn wants you to confirm it’s really you (a code, a 2FA prompt, or a captcha).Fix: Sign in at linkedin.com, clear the prompt, then click Reconnect LinkedIn in Nova.
Your LinkedIn account doesn’t have a supported Recruiter seat. Nova only exports shortlist candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter access today.Fix: Ask your LinkedIn admin for Recruiter access, or reconnect Nova with a Recruiter seat that can open LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
Your Recruiter role is limited on the project you picked.Fix: Ask the Recruiter admin for edit access on that project, or pick one you own.
The profile is locked, deleted, or outside what your Recruiter seat can see. Only that candidate is affected.Fix: Nothing to do. Nova skips them and keeps going on the rest.
The candidate was already in the Recruiter project you picked. LinkedIn caught the duplicate.Fix: Nothing to do. Nova counts it as done.
You’ve hit a LinkedIn daily or weekly limit on invitations or project adds.Fix: Wait a couple of hours before retrying. If this happens often, spread your adds across the day.
A one-off upstream error on LinkedIn’s side.Fix: Try again. If it fails twice in a row, contact Nova support with the time it happened.

Limits worth knowing

  • One LinkedIn seat per Nova user.
  • Up to 50 candidates in a single add.
  • Nova currently exports through LinkedIn Recruiter access only.
