# AI Outbound Talent Search

> Run agent-led outbound sourcing searches, review live results, and manage how your team uses search credits.

AI Outbound Talent Search runs a live sourcing search outside your ATS. You give Nova a role, Nova searches the web, evaluates candidates, and builds a ranked shortlist while you watch.

It sits next to Talent Pool Search, but solves a different problem. Talent Pool Search looks inside your existing applicants. Outbound Search goes out and finds new people.

## What you can do

* Start a search from a job with criteria, or paste a job description directly
* Watch the session as Nova researches the market, searches, and scores candidates
* Review a live shortlist with fit labels, summaries, and supporting evidence
* Control team usage with [per-user search quotas](/nova/outbound-search/search-quotas)

## What a session looks like

Each session has 2 moving parts:

* The activity feed shows what the agent is doing right now
* The shortlist fills in as candidates are found and evaluated

If a role is ambiguous, Nova may ask follow-up questions before it searches. That usually improves title targeting, company selection, and seniority calibration.

## Usage limits

Outbound Search is limited by your company plan. On paid plans, search counts reset with your subscription renewal date. Some teams also split that company limit into per-user quotas so each recruiter gets their own allocation.
