# Company Settings

> Configure scoring behavior, output language, security, and other company-wide preferences in Nova.

Company-wide settings live in **Settings** on your Nova dashboard. These apply to all jobs unless overridden at the job level.

## Scoring settings

| Setting                           | What it does                                                           |
| --------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Default output language**       | Language for assessments. 19 languages supported. Overridable per job. |
| **Exclude application questions** | Score based on resume only, ignoring application responses.            |

## Auto-disable

When enabled, Nova pauses scoring on inactive or expired jobs. Auto-disable is off by default. Defaults when enabled: 30 days inactivity, 5-day billing grace period. Contact your account manager to adjust.

## ATS integration settings

ATS-specific options vary by provider. Common ones:

* **ATS user**: which account Nova uses to post scores
* **Score mapping**: how Nova's 1-10 scale maps to your ATS ratings
* **Recording method**: how assessments appear (e.g., feedback forms vs. notes in Ashby)

## Security

Nova supports 2FA using authenticator apps (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator).

### Setting up 2FA

    Go to your account security page from the user menu.

    Scan with your authenticator app.

  <Step title="Verify and save backup codes">
    Enter the verification code, then save your backup codes somewhere secure.
